About Fourth Coast Creations

Fourth Coast Creations is operated by David J. Schryver of Dexter, New York.  A native of Watertown NY, David taught high school mathematics for 33 years at the Edwards-Knox Central School in St. Lawrence County.  He designed the school website in 1996.  It was one of the first schools in St. Lawrence County to be on-line. He continued to maintain that site until his retirement in 2006.

David also has considerable experience in teaching on the college level, adult education, and in providing in-service training in the fields of education and business.  Throughout his career and into his retirement, he also worked as a disk jockey at various radio stations in the Watertown, New York area.

Following retirement, he expanded his activities into researching and hiking into many waterfalls throughout Northern New York and traveling to lighthouses throughout many states in the US.  This led to the website, nnywaterfalls.com, and the publishing of several waterfall and lighthouse guidebooks, which can be found at davidschryver.com.
